Celebrate!

Good afternoon, everyone!  Happy Halloween!  I hope everyone will have a fantastic day and a scary night!  Be safe and eat lots of candy for me!

It's time for another challenge at Doodle Dragon Studios Challenge Blog.  This challenge couldn't be any easier...ANYTHING GOES!  All you have to do to qualify is use any DDS image!  Easy peasy, mac n cheesy!

I used one of the cute cupcakes from the Bake Sale Release.  This had Maddison behind it and I just chopped her off...how rude of me!  Her little hand was peeking just over the edge so I added a pink gem with a bit of green wire for a cherry to cover it up.  Unfortunately it's terribly difficult to see the stem.  The background is a Diet Coke can, believe it or not.  :O)  I cut it out, cleaned and dried it, ran it through my cuttlebug, inked it up with Staz-on and sanded it down.  Pretty nifty, eh?  I'm happy with it!  :O)

Be sure to check out the rest of the DT members today to see what they have in store for you!  Hop over to the DDS Challenge Blog to play along...it's open through November 13th!  :O)

The Real Original Sassy Bunny Goes Unscripted!

Good morning, crafty bleeps!  I have a super special card to share with you today!  It's Saturday, and that means another round of Unscripted Sketches.

Today I have used line art by Jennifer Vaiano aka NoFlutter at deviantArt.  Jennifer was gracious enough to let me try out some line art that she's re-done.  She is planning to open her own online shop!  Squeeeee!

The little minx is called White Rabbit and she is amazing!  She looks familiar to you?  There's a reason for that...you can read about it by clicking here if you like.  I have to say it took me FOREVER to color her.  I used a sentiment from PTI.  Hope you enjoy this little hottie patottie!

Check out the rest of the DT and see what they have to share today too...links are on my sidebar!

Music Saves My Soul Saturday...on Thursday!

So I'm a bit late!  Heh!  Play along with us at Marcea's Crafting Corner for Music Saves My Soul.  How fun to see what song everyone shares each week.  :O)

This week's all about bringing Sexy Back!  I don't care who you are or what kind of music you generally listen to...this song makes everyone I know move, even if it's just a little.  LOVE this song!

New Challenge at The Wild Flower Patch!

Happy Hump Day, all!  As my title mentions,we have a new challenge starting today at The Wild Flower Patch!  Unfortunately it will be our last challenge of 2010.  :O(  With this being the last Wednesday in October, our awesome leader thought it best to give us all a break for the upcoming holidays.  What a sweetie!  Because this is the last challenge this year, she has decided to offer up an uber amazing prize to the winner!  Are you ready for this?  TWO WFK RUBBER STAMP SETS:  No Girls Allowed and Pretty in Pink!  WOW!  Play along with us and these awesome stamps could be on their way to you!  Our last challenge is GHOULS, GHOSTS & GOBLINS...ANYTHING TO DO WITH HALLOWEEN!  Super easy to play along as you make up those last spooky cards and treat bags!

Today I have made a cauldron shaped mini album.  Is this cute, or what?  I used Pumpkin Lily to adorn the pull out journaling spot/photo mat.  I used a cool binding technique that lets the album lay flat when opened...it also prevents a bulging album from all those 3D embellies.

A Bushel of Fun!

Happy Wednesday to you!  It's time once again for your weekly Showcase Showdown at The Digi Shack!  Be sure to hop on over and check out what everyone did today and pick up some digis for your next project!

I used the image called Apples for this card.  This is a card I made last year...I just plain ole spaced making something new.  Must have been all the excitement from my birthday!  ;O)

Zombies and Candy...

Oh yeah!  It's my birthday today and I'm hoping to get crafty in just a bit!  I wanted to jump on real quick and share a card I made with an image from an amazing artist...Jennifer Vaiano aka NoFlutter at Deviant Art.  For those of you who like "SASSY" digital images, be sure to click on the link above and read her journal entry on the right-hand side...I hope this infuriates the rest of my crafty buddies too.  When you're finished check out Jennifer's GALLERY...she is uber talented!

I used Zombie Tinkerbell (with permission) for my latest Halloween card.  I made the sentiment on my pc...doesn't it just look like that's what she is saying?  Wanna play?  My son said, "Uhhh, she's kind of creepy!"  Yeah, she is...in a good way!  I used some more of my new favey DP from Echo Park, MS border punch, bling and card stock from stash, Copic (just to add a bit more color to her skin), nesties, Spica clear glitter marker on her wings, paper distresser, pop dots.

On to the candy and such.  Today is the start of the Inking Pink Blog Hop...it runs through October 31st.  Be sure to join in as most of the stops have candy along the way, icluding True's BCA Candy!

Start at Patricia's blog and show your support!

Hey Cupcake, That's Spooky!

Good afternoon everyone!  I'm finished watching the Chiefs beat up on the Jacksonville Jags...woohoo!  Despite the refs trying to help the Jags win, it was a really good game!

I am excited to announce that we are offering FREE shipping to the U.S. and Canada on ANY size rubber stamp order at Anita Be Stampin, starting right now through Sunday, October 31st! (Non-Canadian international customers will receive a $3 shipping discount, but must email their order for proper shipping calculations.) No coupon code is required!

Anita Be Stampin is also sponsoring the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge this week!  How fun!  Take a peek at these cuppies...so creepy!

I used Frankenbride for my card.  The spooky house is a graphic I found online (HERE) and printed out.  I added a sentiment from Inktegrity and Stickled the windows on the house.  I added some liquid glass to the sentiment to make it pop a bit more.  Colored Frankenbride with Copics, card stock from stash, Spica clear glitter marker for her outfit, pop dots.

Have a great day peeps!  :O)

Cutest Dog + WWI Cupcake + Sketch = AWESOME!

Good morning everyone!  I hope you're all having a fantabulous start to your weekend!  It's Saturday and that means another round of Unscripted Sketches!  This week's sketch is a great one...and one I can see using over and over again.

I made a layout of my cute little Brussels Griffon on her birthday.  I used Wink Wink Ink's CDAC Freebie Cupcake for my layout.  The freebie has now been taken down, but I believe it will eventually make it's way to the WWI Shop.  I made it glittery and added a little bone to the front of it.  I also got to play along with Curtain Call Color Challenge: Act 52.  A first time for me.  I always want to play, but I never get around to it before the next colors are announced.  This color combo was one of my faves, so I knew I HAD to participate!

Be sure to stop by and visit the US blog to see all the other amazing creations this week!  :O)

Simply Betty is Simply Awesome!

Good afternoon all!  I just spent the morning standing in line to get my driver's license renewed.  How much fun is THAT?  None, I tell ya!  But now I don't have to deal with it for another 6 years.  :O)

I have only recently found Simply Betty Stamps...they are so cute and definitely different.  Especially the new Punky Teens Christmas line.  I used Jimmi for today's card along with Mercy's current sketch.  I hope you likey!  Take a spin over to SBS and grab some funky stamps for yourself!  :O)

So, I'm having some issues with a few of the darker colors of my Copics.  The olive greens I used for Jimmi's coat above are the latest to do this.  It's almost as if the ink is oily.  I can't blend it, it just gets pushed around.  It's shiny too...hence the strange angle of the photo of my card above.  It's VERY frustrating!  My  friend said that I may need to refill them (even if they don't need it).  Unfortunately I don't have any of these refills.  GRRRRRRRRRR!!!  She said she's never had anything of the sort happen to her...have YOU ever heard of it?

Dead Dolls Anyone? + New Store.

Happy Thursday!  Dustin of Doodle Dragon Studios has outdone himself with the latest mini release.  If you love all things Tim Burton, you'll adore these "dead dolls!"  He's offering the set of 2, Jack & Madison, for just $1.50!  What a steal!

Bizzy Becs has a new store blog...she's got up some amazing candy right now too!  Be sure to check it out!  As always, check out all the candy I've found in the tab at the top of my blog!

I used Jack to create this fun Christmas card.  LOVE IT!  I used Copics, Basic Grey Jovial DP, Bazzill card stock, ribbon, ricrac, floss and button from stash, nesties, circle punch, computer generated sentiment, pop dots.  I also used the current Mojo Monday sketch.
Be sure to head on over and pick up your very own dead dolls!  :O)

Franky's All Tied Up!

Good morning again, bleeps!  Is everyone getting the cooler temps where they live?  I LURVE Autumn!  It's my favorite season of all.  I have to say the colder weather is coming in spurts here in Kansas City.  It did get colder for a few days a couple of weeks ago, then we were back up into the 80's.  My fingers are so cold while I'm typing this it's kind of difficult!  LOL!  Complain, complain!

We have a new challenge starting today at The Wild Flower Patch.  Your challenge, should you accept it, is to use TWINE!  I have used Frankie for my project...you can pick yours up for just $3.00 at the WFK Shop!  I made this cute little candy holder for my project today...perfect for the twine challenge.  The template is a FREEBIE from the awesome and talented LeighAnn Baird!  Hop over to her blog and pick yours up too...check the sidebar under Free Templates!  :O)

Thanks for coming by today!  I really appreciate all your lovely comments!  Be sure to check out the rest of my Wild Flower Patch teamies to see what they have up their sleeves!  :O)

Showcase Showdown at The Digi Shack

Good morning, crafty friends!  Another Wednesday is upon us already!  Time is whipping right by this year.  This time next Wednesday I'll be THIRTY-THREE!  Yes, I just willingly told my age...I don't care!  :O)  Woohoo!

It's time for another round of the Showcase Showdown at The Digi Shack!  Today I made a thank you card with one of our $1 images from the cosmetic release.  How cute is this?  I added some subtle glitter to the hair dryer with my Spica glitter marker.  The DP is Basic Grey, card stock from stash, Copics, bling from Michael's.

Check out the other talented designers and see what they have in store for you too!  Their links are on my sidebar!  :O)

Ciao, Bella!

Good morning, peeps!  How is everyone this fine Tuesday morning?  It's really very cold here in Kansas City...my fingers and toes are frozen!

I wanted to pop by for a second to show off one of the digital images from Anita Be Stampin.  I didn't have a chance to make anything with this image during our Grand Opening sneak peeks, so I had to use her now!  Anyone watch the Real Housewives of Orange County?  (Yes, I do...one of my guilty pleasures!)  This is so Gretchen!  I used Copics for coloring, DP by MME, card stock by Bazzill, MS daisy border punch, sticker letters found in stash.  I used a sketch from Taylored Expressions...late as I am with it!

Have a great day!

Celebrate the Season

I'm late with my post, as usual!  LOL!  Just a quickie anyway...my very creative friend, Arielle, inspired this card.  I got the idea from a card she posted on her blog...SEE IT HERE!
