I used a couple of the uber cute February membership images for my card paired with my fave line of BG papers...Olivia.  The sentiment is from a PTI set - I use this set ALL the time!

On Thursday Dustin released a new set called Dudley Grows Up.  I was a slacker and never posted my card.  Be sure to check out the new set and grab yours!

Our Sweet Eulanda and Sweet Patricia have been wonderful members and we will miss them dearly! We wish them all the best, thank you ladies for your wonderful creations and all your hard work.

Now meet our two newest members:

Juanita

My name is Juanita; I am married and a stay at home mom of 3. I was introduced to stamping in 2007 and have been hooked ever since. I started using copics in 2009, hard to believe that before that I hated to color. Now it is my favorite thing to do, sometimes even more than making cards. In my card making I’m not sure if I have a set style, my goal is to make the image the main focal point. I find that easier to do when you love the product you work with. That’s why I’m excited to be on the SBC team, the images make creating fun.

Carla
I work full time as a Psychiatric Nurse and with no children, I have lots of time to play, lol! I started making cards about 3-4 years ago and fell in love with the craft. About the same time I discovered Copic markers and well.......lets just say I went to town and now it has blossomed into a healthy...addiction. That is the only word for it. I love to colour and create. I found Simply Betty Challenges and as Christmas and Halloween are my two favorite holidays.........how could I not love and want to be part of Betty's team. I am so excited to be here.

Welcome ladies, we hope you like it here in the nut house that is Simply Betty Stamps, and hope you will be with us for a long time!

It's a White Out!

Hello Simply Betty Stamps fans!  Welcome to another round of challenges at Simply Betty Challenges...and boy, was this ever a challenge for me!  Yes, I chose it, but that's the name of the game.  Besides, how could I pass up a challenge to honor "Snowpocolypse 2011"?

My challenge to you, should you choose to accept it, is WHITE OUT!  Your entire card must be white...designer paper, card stock, embellies, the works - with the exception of your colored image.  Play along with us this week to win an Emo Rio rubber stamp and an Emo Miller rubber stamp!  Betty is too awesome, isn't she?

I used the oh, so cute Emo London from the Valentine's set.  I LURVE HER!  I made the flower a few months ago and it was so big that it never fit just right...until now.  Woot!  How do you like the hair?  I tried a new color combo and I love it.  For anyone wanting to try it it's YR14, YR18, E09.

Be sure to check out the awesome creations from my DT sistahs...they never cease to amaze me!  :O)

Ever After Release at Doodle Dragon Studios

Good afternoon all!  It's release day over at Doodle Dragon Studios!  Be sure to check out the newly revamped site as well as Dustin's Blog to get all the deets!

For my first card I used the ever so sweet castle image.  It was awesome enough that I felt the need to leave it just the castle and sentiment (senti I added in Photoshop).  A little Stickles and distress inks and there ya go!

For my next card I used the cute little gnome image.  I kept thinking to myself, "What kind of card can I make with a gnome?"  Then it hit me.  Home sweet home turned into Gnome sweet Gnome!  So clever, even if I do have to say so myself!  ;O)  I made the tag too!

Thanks a million for coming by today!  See ya tomorrow for a new challenge at Simply Betty Challenges!  :O)

My Love 4 U...

Hello, people!  Happy hump day!  It is SO COLD today!  5 degrees is just ridiculous!  I don't even want to know what the wind chill is.  Last night we got more snow...like that's just what we needed?  Just another 1.5" or so, but still.  It's the slick, wet kind too...not good for driving!  BLECH!

On to a much more fun topic...cards, coloring and Valentine's Day, oh my!  I made this super cute card the other using one of the new images from Wink Wink Ink.  It's called Love Grows and there is also a FREE sentiment that you can get for it as well.  Woot!  Melanie really is too cool!  I used the sentiment on my tag (never mind that I cut it out crooked with my handy Nesties.)  The tree became my pocket since I couldn't seem to fit it on there any other way.  ;O)

By the way, we have a fun Facebook Page dedicated to Wink Wink Ink!  Come on over and "LIKE" us, say hi, upload a WWI card and don't forget to add me while you're there!  ;O)

Happy Birthday, Rio!

Happy birthday to the most selfless, and generous 13 year old I know! Rio, Betty's (from Simply Betty Stamps) dear daughter, wanted to donate her birthday money to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.  Betty sold a "Rio birthday" stamp to raise additional funds for St. Jude's.  Several awesome folks out in blogland bought the image to support Rio's cause and created cards for her.  The entire story can be found on the SBC blog.  Rio turns 13 today and as a gift for her generosity, I created this card for her.

Happiest of days, Rio!

Be sure to check out the post at Simply Betty Challenges to see Rio's reaction along with all of the DT's cards for her!

Sexy Valentine

Good morning, sweets!  It's Tuesday and you know what that means...well, you should anyway since I say this most every Tuesday!  It's time for a fresh new challenge at Anita Be Stampin Challenge blog!  Woot, woot!  Another fabby sketch this week by Neeters herself!  Check out the challenge blog and see all the deets including the awesome prize up for grabs!  ;O)

Today I have used the digi stamp called Busty Betsy.  Not only is she super sexy and oh-so-perfect for Valentine's Day cards, also 100% of the proceeds from Busty Betsy digi image sales will benefit Susan G. Komen For The Cure!  Awesome!  Once again I flipped the sketch...

Thanks so much for coming by to visit!  Check out what the rest of the team has done with this sketch as well...links are on my sidebar!  Have a wonderful day!

HBD2U

WOW!!!  I suck!  I had scheduled this post to go off last Friday and only JUST noticed that  it never posted...DUH!  Anywho, here it is!  Better late than never, eh?

Good morning...and a very early morning at that!  We are slowly digging ourselves out from Snowpocalypse 2011.  We got 20 1/2" inches of snow!  Can you imagine?  My neighbors were smart enough to take a picture with the yard stick, so I just borrowed theirs...UGH!

On to the reason for my post...it's Friday again!  Woohoo!  Time for another round of challenges at Simply Betty Challenges!  This week our teamie has challenged us to make a Valentine Birthday with the color combo of PINK, BLACK & TURQUOISE!  How fun!  I decided to use the ever adorable Rio Valentine Emo.  She's been colored with Copics with the exception of her hair...that's Prismacolor pencils and OMS.  I can't seem to get black hair right unless I use the pencils.  :O)

Be sure to hop on over to the SBC blog to get all the deets on this challenge including what awesome prize is up for grabs AND the awesome samples from my DT sistahs!

I Love You!

Good afternoon everyone!  Welcome to the wonderful Blizzard of Oz!  Yep, we had what they called "Blizzard 2011" on the news and what we lovingly refer to as Snowpocolypse.  LOL!  We're snowed in...hubby is home school has already been canceled (again) for tomorrow.  Oh, the joys of living in the midwest!

I wanted to share a cute card I made with one of the new digital images at Wink Wink Ink.  Melanie has made the cutest Love images to make those "love you" cards with!  I used Lighthearted for my card today.  Hope you likey!

Have a lovely day!  :O)

Hey Sugar!

Good morning and Happy February to you!  It's Tuesday and you know what that means, right?  Another Anita Be Stampin Challenge is raring to go!  This is the first week of the month, so that means something other than a sketch!  Anita has given us a color challenge this week...and it kicked my booty!

I used 2 stamps from the Rosie's Sweets set for my card.  I was going to cheat and leave out the pink, but I decided that the pink buttons and cuppy didn't look too bad.  I used the current sketch at Mojo Monday for this one.  Come on over and join us at the ABS Challenge blog for your chance to win!

Thanks for coming by today, loves!  Have a great day!  :O)
