Day Late and a Dollar Short...

Hello, people!  Happy Saturday to you!  I am hoping that yours is more exciting than mine is!  ;O)  I came by to add a card I made the other day using the current challenge over Tiddly Inks Challenge - Reel Me In.  The day late and dollar short bit comes in the way of always using a sketch a day late.  I used Deconstructed Sketches #9 and they are now on #10.  Oh, well!  Jen's sketches are always wonderful anyway!  :O)

I used the Alice - Time for Tea image for my card along with some MME paper...I love, love, love this paper pad!  She has been colored with Copics and I sponged the background for her.

Oh, before I forget...I have a couple of cards that are being published tomorrow at Scrapbook News and Review's online magazine!  How flipping cool is that!  If you are subscribed, I sure hope you'll pop by take a peek!  :O)

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your weekend with me!

The Digi Shack Release Day!

Good afternoon everyone!  I hope you all had a wonderful July 4th.  We went to Warsaw for fireworks at the Truman Dam...we were out on the boat and it was awesome, as usual.  We came home on Sunday morning and got ready for the party we had.  Friends, family, BBQ, beer, rum and fireworks...awesome!

I woke up this morning and now see that my post for The Digi Shack's release is MISSING.  It didn't just not post like it has before, it's just altogether missing.  Bahhhhhhh!  So, sorry I'm late with my post everyone!  Today we have a new release featuring more images from Brian Lock and our very own DT member, Marlene.  Here are a couple of samples...

First up is a digital layout using the cute owl image from Brian.  I digitally paper pieced two of them for this layout.

Next up is another layout, this one of my adorable baby, Princess Lizzi Bear.  I used the dog head image from Brian.  Damn, my dog is cute!  :O)

Here is a card I made with one of Marlene's images...

Be sure to check out all of the new images available today at The Digi Shack!  You won't be disappointed!  Stop by all of the DT member's blogs to see what they have going on with the new images too...links are on my sidebar!

I Was Published on About.com!

Hi everyone! Monday is almost over...you did it! ;O) I just wanted to share my excitement and tell you that I was published over at About.com! Is that exciting, or what? HERE is the link to see the article. It's all about Mo Manning and her digi stamp company, Digital Pencil Too. :O)

Mo has some wonderful digis including this B-A-D Chihuahua, Spike! I love him and his 'tude! He has the same thing my little Griff has...BDS. AKA {Big Dog Syndrome}!!!

Be sure to stop by DPT and show Mo some love!
