I tried to color the drink in the glass to look like tequila...that's why it and the lemon are so differently colored. I like the way it turned out. :O) How about you?
I have used this background and posted a card with it already...you can find it HERE if you missed it.
Release day is tomorrow, so I have another sneak peek for you...
Inside it says "Have a DINO-mite Birthday!"
I'm not sure why, but the photos are coming out lighter than the actual cards. I colored and colored this image, adding extra color to it. It's darker than this photo shows...I have no idea. He's still cute tho, right? Have a great day!

I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and OMS. I TRIED to color like Peggy taught me...I don't think I was 100% successful, but better than I used to be. :O) The inside of the card says, "Even after they're all grown up." I hope he likes it.
Happy Friday! I hope you all have a great weekend and get to see your Daddies.

I used the "space dragon" as my main image...just love him! I also printed out a very small version of the UFO and used a circle punch to punch it out and use it for an embellie. I love the way it came out. :O)Be sure to stop by Dustin's Blog and get your own! Don't forget to show some love to the rest of the design team! ;O)

Our featured team member this week is Christine. She is just as new to the team as I am and she's doing a great job! Be sure to stop by her blog and leave her some love!
We also want to send out congratulations to our team member, Ashley, who just had her little baby boy, Parker. Congrats, Ashley! We can't wait to see pictures! Take care of yourselves!
My card this week is acetate! I always love the way these look! Let me know what you think. :O) I stamped the butterflies on the acetate using Stazon. The white circle is attached to the front of the card. I cut another one the same size to attach to the inside so you can't see the glue. The hot pink layer is attached to the inside back for my writing and another is attached to the back so I could add my copyright stamp to it.
Stamps: Patterned Bugs by Inkadinkado, Roundabout Phrases by See d's
Misc: acetate from office depot, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, rhinestones by K & Co, Jet Black Stazon, CM cutting system

Anywho! I wanted to share another card I made using a digi stamp. I showed it to my hubby and he said she looks like a "mean girl!" That movie was on over the weekend and it must be stuck in his head! LOL! I get a real kick out of him! Do you think she looks like a mean girl? His interpretation of the "Hello!" was like a snotty teenage valley girl...helllllllooooooooooooooo?! I just thought since she was on her cell phone, "Hello!" was appropriate. LOL! Let me know your take...now I'm ever so curious!

***I have gotten many questions regarding the stamp I used for this card, so here it is! I used a digi stamp from The Digi Shack. Her name is Lani. :O) There are 2 others of her as well...one on a surfboard and the other doing a hula. Too cute! Thanks so much for your comments...I truly appreciate them!

Do you have family or friends serving in the military? Are you as proud and grateful to them as I am? I have several family members and friends in all branches of the military, so I know what it's like to worry if they'll come home, or when I might get to talk to them again. I appreciate ALL soldiers who protect us and fight for our rights. I would like them to know how much I appreciate all they do, but never knew what to do...
I found this video called the Gratitude Campaign. Please visit the site and watch it. Tell our soldiers that you appreciate them without saying a word.
"For the past several years as I've been traveling around the country, I've been approaching Soldiers in airports and thanking them for serving for us. On several occasions I have noticed that it felt a little awkward for both of us. There are several reasons, some of which I am even just now learning as I produce this film and talk to more Service Men & Women and Veterans. But they have always appreciated being thanked, and I have always felt better having expressed my gratitude.
I started to think that it would be nice if civilians had a gesture or sign that they could use to say "thank you" quickly and easily without even having to approach. I did some research and found the sign that we are now using.
Is this limited to the military? Not at all. If you look around you I'm sure that you'll find lots of people who are serving their communities, from local to global. If you appreciate their service, give them a sign. Say "thank you from the bottom of my heart."

The inside of this one says "Have a whale of a day!" See that cute little charm? I saw it and I just couldn't resist! :O)
This card was an anniversary card for my parents. Awwwwwww...so cute! The image you get is actually just one orca. I thought if I flipped one around it would look like a heart. It didn't, but it looked like they were kissing, so that worked out too! I didn't realize when I chose the sentiment that it fit so well...deeply...as in the ocean depths. Who'da thunk it!
This one is for my nephew's new baby. We have a shower coming up soon for that. I love the way this one turned out! I paper pieced the sails with the DP and popped the whole thing up. :O) Let me know what you think! Thanks for stopping by!
