Monster Hugs

Good morning everyone!  I hope you all had a wonderful and safe Memorial Day weekend.  I know we did!  :O)  It's time for another round of Anita Be Stampin Challenges!  This week we're going with Layer It On as our theme...EASY!

I used the super cute Monster Hugs set for my card and embossed him with white embossing powder.  I layered and layered...there are 11 layers of paper on this baby...not to mention the layered flower!  I added some Divine Twine in Green Apple.  :O)  I used my awesome buddy, Cheri - aka Graphicat's May sketch for this little cutie.  Doesn't she make fab sketches?

SBS & Macrabre Monday at Haunted Design House!

Good morning, my fiendish friends!  I'm here with a card featuring one of the Simply Betty Stamps summer zombies.  SBS is sponsoring a cool prize over at the Haunted Design House blog!  Be sure to check out my talented friend, Barb's blog for all the deets!

I used Summer Zombie London for my card today.  The challenge was to use the letters in "EMO" for something in your project.  E = embossing...M = mmmmmm! (she's eating after all!)...O = orange.  I also used one of the past sketches from my buddy Jen's new sketch challenge.  :O)

Blast from the Past Release Day at Simply B Stamps!

We're introducing 50's Betty today...she is SO BETTY!  You know you love the hair and the skates!  :O)  I went pretty simple for this one to keep the focus on the image.

Good morning, everyone!  I hope you all got through the hump...we had a rough night of storms here in KS.  Hopefully there's no damage.  I'm here to show off yet another of the new Teen Scene images from Simply B Stamps.

Sunshine on Fairy Wings...

Hey everyone!  I know you were missing my Anita Be Stampin project on Tuesday...we decided to have the challenges on the ABS challenge blog go 2 weeks for a while to give our fearless leader less to do while she in the process of moving.  :O)

I made a layout of my sweet daughter, Ariel, posing for me just before heading out to her Spring Fling.  I used the Ariana digital image and colored her in Photoshop CS2. I hope you like it!

Is he SO The Fonz, or what?  I used some dark denim DP for this one.  I had intended to make his jacket a leather one, but decided to make it jeans too.  Hope you likey!

Hey all!  Sorry for the late post...we had some inclement weather on top of my pc acting wonky.  I tell ya if it's not blogger acting up it's definitely my computer.  ACK!

Today's preview for Simply Betty Stamps is all about Rio.  What can be better than a hula hooping Emo?  LOL!  Seriously, how cute is she?  Our cute as can be Emos are living it up in the 50's!  Be sure to stay tuned the rest of the week...these little cuties will be available on Friday!  :O)

Good morning all and happy Tuesday!  I'm back with another challenge post for Anita Be Stampin Challenges!  Anita herself has made our sketch challenge for you today.

I used the cling mounted rubber stamp set called Love Bots for my card.  I used my Cuttlebug to make some texture on the gray card stock and some Tim Holtz gears.

Good morning again, fellow crafty peeps!  I'm here with yet another preview of the soon to be released Teen Scene stamps at Simply Betty Stamps! 

Today we are previewing Max and Miller.  I have to say that I absolutely despise snakes...if you want to make a fat girl run REALLY fast, show me a snake.  That being said, I do so love this image!  It colored up so nicely!  I used some more of my BG Oliver paper.  His really red hair came out so good!  Woot!

Preview Day 2 at Simply Betty Stamps!

Hey, hey, hey!  Good morning everyone!  I hope you all had a fantabulous Mother's Day yesterday.  I'm here with Preview Day #2 of the brand new Teen Scene images at Simply Betty Stamps!

Today we're showing off Louie and Lola.  This one was my daughter's fave of the new line, so I decided to make her a bookmark.  She's been after me to make her one for a few weeks, so what better time, eh?  I'm not much at making bookmarks since you can't really add much girth to them, but she loved it.  :O)

Here is my first card using the brand new Tad digi image…I made this one up for my dear son who will be graduating the 8th grade this year!  I used an EK Success border punch along with some Divine Twine in Lemon (found HERE in the ABS Shoppe!)  I used the cute little bus charm from my stash and the sentiment is from PTI.

 My next card is using Valerie.  I had lots of fun with this one...volleyball is my fave!  I didn't have any paper to use for it, so I made my own in Photoshop.  You like?  :O)

Wonderful Memories

Good morning and happy Friday to you all, bleeps!  It's time for another round of challenges at Simply Betty Challenges!  This time it's all about Mom!  Use any SBS image and make your projects all about Mom to win.  The winner will receive any 2 Sweet Gothic Kids digis...woohoo!

I used Tilly from the Sweet Gothic Kids Easter line.  I colored and "pieced" her in Photoshop.  The layout photo is of my Mom, Daughter and myself having a girls day.  We went out for mani/pedis and to lunch.  :O)
