New Stuff from Scrap Art Studio

Good morning, my pretties!  I'm here to show off some brand new stuffs from Scrap Art Studio...if you're a digi scrapper, hybrid scrapper/card maker or art journaler you will LOVE SAS!  I promise!

I'm gonna start off with the new Follow Your Art mini kits called Back to Basics...The first 2 are from Cilenia Curtis.  Page 1 mini kit.  Page 2 mini kit.  The first is an art journal page on why things can't be as "easy as ABC."  The second was inspired some of the word art strips included in the mini kit.

The next mini kit from FYA Back to Basics is by Aria.  Such little kits can really be used to create something big!  :O)

Next up is another kit by Cilenia Curtis: artse Play 01.  One digital layout and one digital art journal page.

Last but not least...this CASE File was created by me and is FREE through today.  Every Monday you can swing by to grab another freebie PSD template.  After Friday these are sold for $1.35 with the proceeds going to charity!

I hope you liked some of the new finds at SAS...join us in the FORUMS where we have monthly challenges to win credits for the Shop!  MWAH!!!

Last week I started the Can You Digi It? Challenge #23.  I asked players to go Clean and Simple for their projects.  Check out the following inspiration board...you still have a week to play along!  Link up at the bottom of the CYDI? blog post!

I made my CAS layout based off of one of the sample photos on the inspiration board.  My daughter and her bestie on the tram at the Kansas City Zoo.  I used papers from Green Goddess Creations Scrumptious and Kreative Kraft as well as Pears by LilyPink Designs for my project.  I hope it inspires you to play along with us!  You could be the next big winner!  $10 for digi merch at the CYDI? At The Beach...

Good morning, my crafty bleeps!  I hope all is well with you this lovely Tuesday morning.  I'm praying for a day that's cool here in Kansas...that would mean lower 90's!

I'm here with another fun challenge for the Can You Digi It? blog.  Michelle has chose AT THE BEACH for us and put together this fun inspiration board.  Join us for your chance to win a $10 gift certificate to the CYDI? Store (CYDI? image is not required, but we would LOVE to see you use them)!

I made a digital layout with Michelle's latest and greatest kit called Minty Sunshine.  I adore the way this page came out!  I also used LilyPink Designs' Text Cloud & Songbird image in the upper left corner.  I did "erase" the words in Photoshop to better match my page.

I hope my layout has inspired you because I can't wait to see what you'll come up with for our challenge!  Thank you so very much for stopping in today!  MWAH!!!

Christmas in July?

Christmas in July?  You betcha!  Welcome to another challenge for Can You Digi It?!  April has challenged us to make a Christmas project using a non-holiday themed stamp.  Check out the cool ideas on this inspiration board!

This was a fun challenge and I really wanted to make sure I used non-traditional colors and an image that no one else would use...I believe I succeeded!  :O)  I used the image Hen Pecked from LilyPink Designs.  I didn't think the cute sentiment around the frame went with Christmas (though it certainly could), so I colored the band around the outside in black.  I used one of my fave stamps from CTMH for the sentiment.  Everything is colored with Copics.  I used some Embellie Gellie to grab the cute little pearls from the Zva Creative Pearl Wheel and added those to the corner of the card with the Best Glue Ever.

Come on over and join in this fun challenge.  You have until July 16th to link up on the CYDI? blog for your chance to win a $10 gift certificate for digital goodness at the CYDI? Store!  Thanks so much for popping in!  MWAH!!!

This week's challenge:  Pixie Travels the Globe!  Your projects should be all about TRAVEL!

My image is called Nautical Pixie...isn't she sweet?  This is a hybrid project.  I used digital elements from Follow Your Art's Discover colab (3 parts found HERE, HERE & HERE) along with my PDS image.  I like the way it turned out.

Thanks so much for coming by today!  I sure hope you'll pop over to the PDS Challenge blog and join us!  Don't forget to come on back tomorrow for a Pixie Blog Hop!  MWAH!!!

CYDI Challenge #12

Good morning all!  It's time for the bi-weekly challenge over at the Can You Digi It? Blog!  This week's challenge is called "Where's the Color?"  Check out and be inspired by this great collage of images!

I used the image by LilyPink Designs called Pick a Number for my background image...it was perfect for this challenge.  I layered a few of the images together to come up with my background.  I added a small strip of green...now you know where the color is!  I wanted to have a snarky sentiment on there with all those numbers, but I couldn't find a stamp and I was using a scrap piece of paper.  Not big enough to run through the printer...so I opted for a standard HB greeting.  :O)

Join us for your chance to win a $10 gift certificate for digital goodness at the Can You Digi It? store!  MWAH!!!

Feed the Birds...please?

It's time for a new challenge and a new release!  FEED THE BIRDS is now available for purchase at Pixie Dust Studio!  The challenge is set...it's all about birds, of course!  See how easy we make it? LOL!

For my challenge entry I made a digital layout of my daughter at the pet shop feeding the birds...how appropriate!  I used digital papers that I made called Bird is the Word and colored some of the elements in the paper to match my daughter's photos.  The image is called Feed the Birds.  She is actually sitting on a bench, but I "cut" her out in Photoshop to use on my layout.

Next image I played with is called What Shall I Do.  Is this the cutest kitty, or what?  He's got 3 of his best buds hanging with him.  I colored with Copics and used some clear cut shapes from Deja Views that I've had forever.  They are baby girl themed, but all too perfect for this card!

Be sure to join in the challenge fun...and go shop till you drop!  You know you want to!  Thanks so much for stopping by today!  MWAH!!!

Other challenges I'm entering:
Divas by Design - summer theme
Freshly Brewed - anything goes

Just Keep on Creating - anything goes

BUGGIN'!

Good morning everyone!  I'm stopping in today to share a card I made for the current Pike's Playground over at Dustin Pike's blog.  The theme this time is "Don't Bug Me" and there are some great projects by the team!  Hurry over and join in the fun!  While you're there, be sure to check out the specials!

I used Mantis for mine...an oldie, but a goodie!  I hope you like him...I do!  :O)

Here is another of Dustin Pike's older images.  My hubby had a co-worker's birthday to bring a card for...we were going to do something over the hill since it was his 50th birthday, but he said he was a computer programmer and the like...this image immediately came to mind.  I did make him gray to elude to his "old" age!  I hear everyone liked it!

Thank you so very much for stopping by to visit today.  I appreciate it!  MWAH!!!

Pixie Post

Good afternoon everyone!  Today starts a new challenge for the Pixies...what is it you ask?  Use 3 or more patterned papers in your project!  You can do it!  I know you can!

I have a couple of Pixie Dust Studio projects to share with you today.  First up is a cute layout using Oh Happy Day.  This was actually for the challenge last week, but I never got it posted.  *shhhhhhh*

Next up is a card I made for a sweet little girl named Gabrielle. She is very sweet and in a constant battle for health.  She is in a low spot in her health and is not able to attend school at the moment.  Her high point in her day is walking to the mailbox to get the mail (if she feels well enough to make the walk).  I am wanting to spread the word and get her to have fun getting the mail each day.  I would LOVE if you all would send her one of your cards with some happy messages attached.  Spread the word and get the news out that she would love mail from our sweet crafting community!!  She LOVES zebras.  So if you have any zebra cards she would love them!
Her addy is:
Gabrielle Rothwell

Perham, MN 56573

Thanks so much for peeking in today!  MWAH!!!

Button It Up!

Good morning everyone!  At the Can You Digi It? blog the next 2 weeks is all about BUTTONS!  I love buttons, so I knew this was a challenge I wanted to issue to see what awesome creations we get using this board for your inspiration.

I think all those projects on the board are so fun!  I have made a tree of buttons before and they do look very cool.  I decided to use my buttons in the place of the leaf balls on LilyPink Designs Topiary image.

Won't you join us in our latest challenge?  You could be the next winner of a CYDI? $10 gift certificate!

P.S.  Michelle has made up some digi buttons for your project making pleasure, so be sure to grab those up while they're free!
