Good morning all you love muffins! Welcome to September! I can hardly believe it's September already, can you? Later this month will be my 2 year blogaversary and there will be an awesome amount of candy to be had!
With the coming of this new month also comes the Design Team announcement for The Digi Shack! Yes, Toni is a glutton for punishment and has asked me to stay on again as a Senior Design Team Member. :O) Yay! Be sure to check out my sidebar to see who else has made the team!
On to the FUN STUFF! My card for today features a not-yet-released image by the talented Brian Lock. You are going to be knocked out by these images if you love Halloween like I do! Look for this image to be released in the next week!
The next card uses the current Mojo Monday sketch for inspiration...The more I look at this witch the more I think she's all sauced up! She shouldn't be riding that broom around! :O)
Visit the rest of my teamies and give them your congratulations on making the DT! Feel free to grab the TDS glitter I made too! :O)

Gettin' Sketchy with PTI
Good evening everyone! I wanted to pop on and share a card I made with a newly acquired stamp set from Papertrey Ink called Guide Lines. It was a tad difficult to place the grid correctly...as you can plainly see! LOL! Still, I am pretty happy with it...love black, gray and yellow together. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and started out white...I love my Copics! I used the sketch over at Get Sketchy Card Challenges for this one. :O)

Make a Wish with Wink Wink Ink!
Good morning everyone! I hope your Thursday has started off with a bang...it's Friday eve! :O) I'm getting ready to head over to my Mom's house. She took the day off and we're going to do some shopping, get pedicures and have lunch! How fun does THAT sound?
For my card today I have used several Wink Wink Ink images. The chair, table and poodle are all in the Grandma's Parlor Collection Set. The hat, balloons, pressie and sentiment can be found in the Birthday Necessities Set. Too cute! The chair was paper pieced using some of that yummy BG Olivia paper. I have entered this into the JUGS color challenge and Simon Says Challenge - paper piecing. :O)
Would YOU like to be part of the design team for Wink Wink Ink? Now's your chance! Check out all the deets RIGHT HERE! Deadline is September 24th! Good luck! :O)

In My Garden
Good morning again, crafty friends! Sorry for the lateness of my post. It's time for Wild Flower Wednesday Challenge #29 at the Wild Flower Patch! This week's challenge was issued by our lovely DT coordinator, Donna Wardle. BLACK & WHITE! A tough one, I think, but everyone really pulled out all the stops for it! I'm so impressed by my fellow design team sistahs!!!
I used the flower image that was a freebie over on WFP Paper Craft Planet Group. These were photo that I just took a couple of weeks ago out in my garden. While I was out weeding, pruning and watering I had several visitors! I saw a giant walking stick, a praying mantis and there was the most beautiful butterfly out there that looked solid black until he moved his wings...then they turned a deep shade of blue. By the time I ran in for my camera the praying mantis was the only one I could still find to photograph.
You will definitely want to check out what the other design team members did for this challenge! Check out their links on my sidebar!

A True Beauty...
Good morning everyone and Happy Hump Day! It's time for the Showcase Showdown at The Digi Shack! I have decided to do another digital layout for my creation this week. I asked my hubby to take some photos of me for my blogger pic and, of course, I had to ham it up a bit. *grin* My cutest little doggy, Princess Lizzi Bear has accompanied me in one of them. :O) The butterflies on this layout are from The Digi Shack and can be yours for only $1! That's right, just a buck! I colored them in Photoshop to match my layout. Neat, huh? I'm entering this into the Flutter By Wednesday Challenge too.
Check out the rest of the design team's creations too...links are on my sidebar! :O)

Ready For Fall!
Hello all! I just thought I'd stop by with another installment of card fronts I made for the swap I'm in. This one was Thanksgiving or Fall. I used some pretty stamps from Inkadinkado for these. I love the way they turned out! :O)

What? No Pretty Paper?
Hello everyone! Sorry for my absence! I got pretty sick and slept FOREVER! I am feeling {mostly} human today. Since I missed out on sharing Jake's 1st day of school photo earlier this week, I'd love to share it now. The first picture is last year's 1st day of school, followed by this year's...WOW! You never really realize how much they grow until you compare like this!
It's time for another challenge at Doodle Dragon Studios Challenge Blog! The next 2 weeks, through September 5th, your challenge is to use any DDS image and NO DESIGNER PAPER! What? No pretty papers? That's right! A difficult challenge for me! Here's what I came up with using the sketch at Card Patterns...
Come on over and join us for your chance to win a free DDS image of your choice! Check out the rest of the team's creations too!

All Is Bright
Good afternoon everyone! I think I'm coming down with a cold...I have a scratchy throat and 1/2 of a stuffly nose. Oh joy!
I just thought I'd pop on to show you the Season's Greetings / Happy Holidays portion of the card front swap I told you about the other day. I used Holiday Snowman Square by Whipper Snapper Designs...one of the cuties I got from CHA. Unfortunately you can't see the sparkle on his face or the snowflakes, but it's there. I used a Spica glitter pen for it. I heat embossed the sentiment that's from CTMH.

Family with The Digi Shack
Good morning everyone! I'm running a bit behind, so right to my creation for The Digi Shack! I used the loopy flower and digitally paper pieced it with my DP. These photos were taken 8/13/10 when hubby's brother and his family were here visiting from Luxembourg...we went out for dinner to the Salty Iguana.
Be sure to check out the rest of my teamies too...links are on my sidebar!

It's CLEARLY Your Birthday!
Good morning friends! A happy Tuesday to you all! My son starts school tomorrow and boy is he ever happy about it...hear the sarcasm? How will he get the time he needs to play his video games? LOL! Mom, however, is excited for him to get back on the routine...quiet all day long! Woot!
Today I want to share an acetate card that I made using the new Teddy Bear Messages set by Wink Wink Ink! I love acetate cards...they are always unexpected! Now usually I will add some paper to the inside of the card to write on, but this time I opted to leave it off. I wanted all the focus to be on the bear {and his bare bear butt on the inside}. When I make an acetate card like this I'll just add a piece of thin, folded card stock to the inside for my message. What do you think of this lil cutie?
Have a great day!

Christmas Card Front Swap...
Good morning fellow crafters! I wanted to pop on and show you a card I have been working on. I joined in a card front swap on one of my groups after being bribed and flattered. LOL! I told her that flattery would get her EVERYwhere! I signed up for 5 spots, which need to make 5 card fronts each. Today I'm sharing the Christmas category. I used a stamp from Inkadinkado and heat embossed it twice. I wanted the little snowflakes in the letters to remain white. Then I sponged Brick Red and Crushed Olive distress inks over the entire front. I added some snowflake images stamped in gray and a mist of Smooch Spritz, some brads, matted it all up and there you go! I hope the recipients like it...it's not my usual style, but I like the look of it!
This first picture here is where I stopped the first time, but I thought it was a bit boring...that's when I added the snowflakes and Smooch...TAKE 1:

Sketch-a-rific with The Wild Flower Patch
Good morning again everyone! It's time for Wild Flower Wednesday #27 with The Wild Flower Patch! Today's challenge...a sketch created by our own LeighAnn Baird!
I used Birthday Ivy for my card today. DP is by My Mind's Eye...love this stuff! Prima flower, K&Co brad, PTI ribbon and matching stock, copics, stardust gelly roll pen, EK Success border punch and rhinestones from my stash.
Check the awesomeness that is the rest of the design team! Their links are on my sidebar! :O)

No SUB-stitute for The Digi Shack!
Good morning ladies (and gentlemen)! It's time for another Wacky Wednesday with The Digi Shack! Last Saturday we released 10 new images from artist Brian Lock...and boy are they cah-yute!
I used the little submarine for today's card along with more of that yummy Oliver DP by Basic Grey. Yes, I meant to spell KNOT that way. You know, since the speed a boat goes is measured in knots. (The knot is a unit of speed equal to one nautical mile per hour, which is equal to exactly 1.852 km/h and approximately 1.151 mph.)So clever, aren't I?
Check out the rest of the DT's creations too...links are on my sidebar! :O)

Summah, Summah, Summahtime!
Good morning again, friends! Back, as promised, with my entry for Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge #5. I am so mad at myself for missing the last 2 challenges AND the first blog hop they had. See what going to CHA costs? ;O)
I used Queen's Cutie from Kenny K's and sat her on a CC Designs swiss field fence that I purchased at All That Scraps. The theme for this week's challenge is Summertime...I wanted the image to be the main focus, so I printed it out rather large and colored away! Just some matting, rhinestones and inside sentiment (by Taylored Expressions)...all done!
Extra Challenges:
The Pink Elephant - summer fun
One Stop Craft Challenge - summer fun
Cute Card Thursday - whateva
Pile It On - a little bit country, a little bit rock n roll
