Good evening...said in my best Dracula voice! Today is the day! It's the GRAND OPENING of Scrap Art Studio! We have 4 awesome designers to set you up with everything you need for artsy digital scrapbooking and art journaling! If you head on over and sign up for the newsletter you'll get an awesome free mini kit! Enjoy Cilenia's newsletters to see what's new in the shop via inspiration pages and learn some cool tips and tricks too!
I made this layout of my sweet daughter with the mini kit you could be getting for FREE!
While I'm here I want to share another layout I made with a combination of kits from the SAS Shop. Aria's Viewpoint and Angie's Dance With Nature & Transformation. I used a photo of myself and an unlikely friend...click the photo for a larger view to see the journaling. :O) If you can't read the journaling, please let me know so I can save future layouts a bit larger or add my journaling in my blog post. I was introduced to a new challenge called CSI - Case Files...this one is #30. I played along using distressing and metal for my evidence and a story about friendship for my testimony. How cool is that?
Head on over to the Grand Opening at Scrap Art Studio and enjoy the sale! Don't forget to sign up for the newsletter while you're there! MWAH!!!

Videezy
Good afternoon all! I just wanted to pop in and tell you about a new site I saw...if you are into shooting vids, editing vids or making little movies and such, this site is definitely for you! Introducing...VIDEEZY! I use a sister site called Brusheezy and it is FABULOUS!
ABOUT VIDEEZY:
Videezy is a community that provides a place for professional and amateur videographers to download and share free HD stock video footage and free b-roll footage with each other. All the video clips you will find here are HD quality and completely free to use in your projects. Shared under a Creative Commons license or part of the public domain. To get started, may I suggest you create an account or you can learn more by checking out the site HERE!
I went over to Videezy to check it out to satisfy my artistic (or nosy...whichever) side. I found some very cool videos hiding over there. One that caught my eye was called Goldfish in a Wine Glass. It's one of the featured videos, so it's not too hard to fins, but it is shot very well. It reminds me of one of the Baby Einstein videos. Another one that I had to watch was called Crane Roost. The beginning of this video was very interesting to watch. The crane's head didn't look like it was moving...funny, but interesting creature! My fave of the videos I watched? Free Stadium and Clouds Time Lapse. WOW! What a cool effect! They must have had the camera set up to record most of the day. If I knew a thing about making and/or editing vids, this would be one I would use! I can totally see it as an intro to my Kansas City Chiefs starting line-up or something!
Thanks so much for stopping in! MWAH!!!

At The Beach...
Good morning, my crafty bleeps! I hope all is well with you this lovely Tuesday morning. I'm praying for a day that's cool here in Kansas...that would mean lower 90's!
I'm here with another fun challenge for the Can You Digi It? blog. Michelle has chose AT THE BEACH for us and put together this fun inspiration board. Join us for your chance to win a $10 gift certificate to the CYDI? Store (CYDI? image is not required, but we would LOVE to see you use them)!
I made a digital layout with Michelle's latest and greatest kit called Minty Sunshine. I adore the way this page came out! I also used LilyPink Designs' Text Cloud & Songbird image in the upper left corner. I did "erase" the words in Photoshop to better match my page.
I hope my layout has inspired you because I can't wait to see what you'll come up with for our challenge! Thank you so very much for stopping in today! MWAH!!!

New Artist at CYDI?!
Today, we welcome Mike Eustis to the Can You Digi It? artist family! Just WAIT until you see what he has in the store for you, but first a little about the artist:
Mike is a children's illustrator based in Seattle, WA, where the sun is ALWAYS shining on him. He has been doing this for 12 years now. When he's not drawing fabulous images, he likes to feed the birds, cook, and read historical fiction novels.
Maybe that's where the variety in his images comes from? Today, we are debuting 8 of Mike's fabulous images. Check them out before you head for the shop!
Bird Watching:
Happy Toilet Training:
Kitchen Help:
Les Paleontologists:
Little Scuba:
Off We Go:
Saturday AM Wizardry:
Something's Fishy:
The Design Team got to play with the image, Off We Go, early, and I sure had a ball with it! What a fun image! I had something made up in record time. I also used Embellie Gellie, Crystal Wheel, Smooch in Kiwi & Best Glue Ever for my card.
Thanks so much for popping in to check out what I've been up to! Keep on coming by too...we have some exciting things brewing at CYDI?! MWAH!!!

Happy Independence Day!
Happy Independence Day!
I'm popping in today to share a layout I made using a new Pixie Dust Studio image called Uncle Sam. We went to Warsaw over the weekend and watched the fireworks from the boat. They shoot them off of the Truman Dam every year and, let me tell you, they never disappoint! The display is always amazing and I got a most excellent shot this year! WOOT! I have used some digital papers that I made called The 4th at Grandma's and cropped Uncle Sam to use only his head. I used a sketch I found over at Sketch~N~Scrap. I flipped it so I could use my new fave pic of the fireworks!
Thanks so much for coming by to visit me today! I hope you have a wonderful and safe 4th of July!

Christmas in July?
Christmas in July? You betcha! Welcome to another challenge for Can You Digi It?! April has challenged us to make a Christmas project using a non-holiday themed stamp. Check out the cool ideas on this inspiration board!
This was a fun challenge and I really wanted to make sure I used non-traditional colors and an image that no one else would use...I believe I succeeded! :O) I used the image Hen Pecked from LilyPink Designs. I didn't think the cute sentiment around the frame went with Christmas (though it certainly could), so I colored the band around the outside in black. I used one of my fave stamps from CTMH for the sentiment. Everything is colored with Copics. I used some Embellie Gellie to grab the cute little pearls from the Zva Creative Pearl Wheel and added those to the corner of the card with the Best Glue Ever.
Come on over and join in this fun challenge. You have until July 16th to link up on the CYDI? blog for your chance to win a $10 gift certificate for digital goodness at the CYDI? Store! Thanks so much for popping in! MWAH!!!

PDS "Compass" Blog Hop
Welcome to the Pixie Dust Studio "Compass" blog hop!
Kathy has really outdone herself with this super collection! If you've come from the sweet island girl, SHIRL'S BLOG, you're right on track...keep hopping along! If not, please start back at the beginning at the PDS Blog. Comment on every stop for your chance to win the prize...2 images of your choice!
I have used 2 images for my card and merged them together in Photoshop. Asian Princess and Cherry Blossom Tree. How stinking sweet is she, anyway?! I colored the images using my trusty Copics and added some faint clouds using distress inks and a scalloped nestie diecut. The paper was meant for these images...I have been hoarding this paper for quite some time. It's from KaiserCraft...Sorbet. The sentiment I used is from Stamper's Anonymous. I added some sparkle with my Sakura Stardust pen in clear.

In case you should lose your way, here is the entire hop order! ;O)

Over the Hill
***If you've come looking for my Pixie Dust Studio post, please scroll down!***
Good morning! It's time for June Show and Tell over at Dustin Pike's Blog! He has released some super cute images, as usual, so you had better scoot on over to Doodle Dragon Studios and pick them up!
Today I used Over the Hill for a layout of my dear hubby on his 40th birthday. The digital kit is by Angie Young of Follow Your Art and can be found HERE. I used only the B&W items from the kit along with some red paper that I made and some grunge brushes. I colored Over the Hill in Photoshop. :O)
Thanks so much for stopping in today to see what I've been up to! MWAH!!!
You're the Best!
Good morning, folks! It's time for my Pixie Dust Studio post of the week...I fell in love with this little fella as soon as I laid on him. Moon beam the Unicorn...oh, how sweet!
I colored Moonbeam up with my Copics and fussy cut him out. I Stickled his horn and hearts as well as the edges of the flowers. I believe the sentiment is from a Fiskars clear set. The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I made the leaf branch in my Silhouette software.
Thank you for taking a minute to see my PDS project today! MWAH!!!

CYDI Challenge #12
Good morning all! It's time for the bi-weekly challenge over at the Can You Digi It? Blog! This week's challenge is called "Where's the Color?" Check out and be inspired by this great collage of images!
I used the image by LilyPink Designs called Pick a Number for my background image...it was perfect for this challenge. I layered a few of the images together to come up with my background. I added a small strip of green...now you know where the color is! I wanted to have a snarky sentiment on there with all those numbers, but I couldn't find a stamp and I was using a scrap piece of paper. Not big enough to run through the printer...so I opted for a standard HB greeting. :O)
