For my card I used a ton of gems from the Crystal Wheel along with the ever amazing Embellie Gellie.  The image is retired from the CYDI? Store.  The papers and ribbon are from a DCWV paper pack.

Feel Better Soon

Good morning all!  Today is the 1st day of Middle School - 7th grade - for my youngest.  She was terribly excited and I guess I was too.  I was up at 3AM after tossing and turning all night.  She followed shortly behind and got up at about 4:45AM.  I took her to breakfast since we had so much time and I will share pictures later!

The reason for my post today is a new challenge over at the Can You Digi It? blog.  The next 2 weeks is all about PURPLE PLEASE!  Check out the amazing inspiration board and be inspired...join us for your chance to win a $10 gift certificate to the CYDI? Store!

I used a super cute image from Mike Eustis called XO.  Don't you just love those extra long legs?  I also used a digital paper pack called Passion for Purple along with some Bazzill card stock.  The sentiment is a stamp from CTMH.

New Artist Debut at CYDI?!

Good morning everyone!  I'm here today to share a couple of projects with you from a new artist at Can You Digi It?...Hannah Clark of Delightfully Distressing Designs!

I made the first page...an art journal page using her Shabby Melody items.  I absolutely love the colors and the theme.  I couldn't resist using this kit for one of my favorite {ever} songs from Metallica.

I made a layout using her sweet Butterfly Bliss items...don't you just love these colors?  How awesome and totally gorgeous!  I am so pleased with the way this one came out.

While I'm here I want to share another layout I made with a combination of kits from the SAS Shop.  Aria's Viewpoint and Angie's Dance With Nature & Transformation.  I used a photo of myself and an unlikely friend...click the photo for a larger view to see the journaling.  :O)  If you can't read the journaling, please let me know so I can save future layouts a bit larger or add my journaling in my blog post.  I was introduced to a new challenge called CSI - Case Files...this one is #30.  I played along using distressing and metal for my evidence and a story about friendship for my testimony.  How cool is that?
