The Digi Shack Challenge #23

Good morning all!  This weeks challenge at The Digi Shack is all about FALL.  Fall colors that is….use browns, oranges, purples, deep reds, rusts, etc…you get the idea. Then post your creation using Mister Linky!  On mine both the image and the sentiment are from TDS.  I layered them in Photoshop.  :O)

The Digi Shack Challenge #20

Hello everyone! I know I've been MIA for a while. We had some electrical issues here that we had to take care of. While that was going on the electricians we hired cut our Road Runner (cable internet) line and we were without the internet!!! Yikes!!! Talk about withdrawals! ;O) So today I am posting the current challenge for The Digi Shack. We have a Color combo for you this time! Back to School...

Today is the first day of 7th grade for my son, Jacob. He's in a new district, so he doesn't know anyone yet. I have been more worried than he has, but today was it. I wanted him to know I was thinking of him and that we know he'll do great today, so I made him a little card with a Dustin Pike digi image. He grinned really big when I gave it to him this morning. :O)

The Digi Shack Challenge is in the BAG!!!

Happy Thursday! Today is the weekly challenge for The Digi Shack! This weeks challenge is a special one. Toni not only owns TDS, but also owns Kharlie Bug, which is her line of handbags and all things fabric. The store just launched less than three weeks ago after a year long break from sewing. So this weeks challenge is all about Kharlie Bug! Basically you’ll click on her etsy store, pick an item you LOVE and use it as inspiration for your creation. It can be that you love the colors, the print, the style, the shape, anything that inspires you.
Then you’ll post a link to your challenge creation using Mr. Linky and Toni will then choose the one she likes the best and that person will get a free handbag! Ooh, yep I said it! A free handbag. Flutterby Case

Happy Wednesday and welcome to the next Flutter By Wednesday at Danni's Dreams! This week our challenge is from team member, Cassie. She challenged us to CASE (copy and steal everything) from another flutter by team member's card. Please be sure to tell us in your post who you CASE'd. The Digi Shack Blog Hop Stop!

Hello everyone! This is the next stop for The Digi Shack's Blog Hop! If you came from Kemi's blog, you're right on track! If not, you might want to start at the beginning (The Digi Shack) so you don't miss out on anything! I have 2 samples of new releases for you today. The first is a super cute pair of shoes...who couldn't use that?

I used Kaiser Crafts DP and some cream cardstock. I printed the image 3 times, once on each color (cream - I added the sentiment to this one, dots, brown). I cut out the sections I wanted from the brown and dotted DP and glued to the cream stock. I distressed the edge with Chocolate ink from CTMH and glued that to my striped DP. I colored the tags on the soles of the shoes with a gold metallic pen and the heel with a copic marker. I added Kaiser pearls to the corner.

The second image I have is for a New Year Celebration. :O)
I used copic markers to color in the image. I matted it on gold mettalic cardstock and adhered those onto the purple DP by DCWV. I added 4 rhinestones in coordinating colors to give a little sparkle to the card. Lastly, I added Liquid Glass (Crystal Effects) to the lenses of the glasses and the champagne bottle. Easy peasy! I hope you enjoyed my samples!

***So here is my question to you...having seen those super cute pumps...how many pairs of shoes do YOU have? My hubby is appalled by the number of shoes I have and I have even gone through them this summer and weeded some out! MEN! I have 52 pairs. That just a small collection. ;O)***

Are You a Digi Diva?

Hello everyone! Happy Thursday! :O) I got my son all signed up for football today...phew! Glad that's done! He starts school next Thursday! How exciting!

Hello all! It's Wednesday and you know what that means! Another Flutter By Wednesday over at Danni's Dreams! This week is an open challenge...all you have to do is use a faerie or butterfly anywhere on your project! I didn't make my card until last night and I have to say, I sat staring at the paper waiting for inspiration to strike. I tried a bajillion different things and this is what I came up with. Not very inspiring, but it's cute enough, I think. ;O)
