Anita Be Stampin Rubber Preview Day 2
Good morning, party people! TGIF! I sure hope the weekend proves to be better than this week has been! How could it not though? TOMORROW is the big release day for the new rubbah at Anita Be Stampin! Today we're previewing the set called Bears and Bunches.
I got a cute mini mailbox from the dollar section at Target and altered it up using the 2 cute bears in this set. The boy bear actually holds a huge bouquet of flowers behind his back, but I just cut them out for the use on my project. I hope you like it!
Check out the rest of the projects the team made with this adorable set by checking out the ABS blog! :O)

Blingin' It On For Emmy!
Well ladies, this week we have a very special challenge for you at Simply Betty Challenges, as it's for a very special girl. Back during our 12 days of Christmas we had a special prize, which was a Custom digi image drawn by our very own Betty. A special young crafter named Emmy won and her digi is now ready, and the DT have all used her image this week for our Bling It On Challenge. So this week, since Emmy LOVES glitter we're challenging you to...
Bling It On!
I used all sorts of blinginess on my card! Everything from glitter paper & rhinestones to glitter glue. Hope Emmy enjoys my creation! :O)
Okay, all! Be sure to check out the Simply Betty Challenges Blog to see some very awesome DT creations...you won't be sorry!

New Shoes Cure the Blues!
Well ain't that the truth? Good morning everyone! Welcome to the next installation of Anita Be Stampin Challenges! For challenge number 5 Anita gave us another fabu sketch. Play along with us, won't you? Click on the link above to see all the challenge deets, including the yummalicious prize!
I used the cling-mounted rubber stamp set Rosie Shops for my card today. I thought we needed a little reminder that shoes can cure everything. Okay, maybe not EVERYTHING, but it helps to dull the pain for a while anyway! :O) I rotated the sketch for a different twist...pun totally intended.
Don't forget that Anita Be Stampin is looking for a few talented designers to join our team. Do you already maintain an existing blog with multiple posts weekly showcasing projects made using rubber stamps AND you love our fun and flirty images? Then our team may be a good fit for you! Check out THIS POST for all the details!
Thanks for stopping by today! Please check out the awesome work from my teamies too...their links are on my sidebar!

Love is in the Air!
Good afternoon everyone! I have missed you all SO MUCH! Since when do I leave for over a month and not say a word? Usually never. I have a very serious family emergency going on right now, but I am finally "normal" (yes, I use the term loosely) enough to color and feel like getting crafty! I can still use all the good juju you can spare though. :O) I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's...ours was trying, but good nonetheless.
Onward and upward!
Today's card features a new digi image from Wink Wink Ink called Love Fairy! I love her! I'm all about fairies, ya know! Melanie did an outstanding job on this stamp and the other Valentine images! The heart is actually blank, but I stamped the sentiment from PTI on it and embossed with white embossing powder. I haven't decided who will get this card just yet...
Thanks for coming by today...let's make this a bit more regular, shall we? Have a great day peeps!

Special Digi Image - Fundraiser for St. Jude's!
A 13 year old's Birthday Wish...all the money that would have gone to her presents are to be donated to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Please read this post below and support a great cause thought up by a mature teenager. All proceeds from the sale of this Limited Edition Emo will be donated in Rio's name.
This is Betty's Post snagged from her Blog
"Every year I ask the kids what they want for their birthday. Money, a trip, a party, or an overnight stay at Disneyland.... Rio came to me and said, "Mom, is it really really my choice what I get for my birthday?" I told her of course! So she says, "Ok, this year mom, I want money, but can I do anything at all with it? I mean anything I want mom?" Again, I said of course. "Okay, I want my birthday money to be donated to the children of St. Jude's hospital so they can have a special day, or whatever the money is needed for. I don't want to have money to just blow when I can help other kids that can't get out of bed, or go outside. That's what I want for my birthday!"
Of course I was already choking on my tears before she finished her sentence! What a marvelous request, selfless and special! I had a special image made for her 13th birthday, and I have not told her about it, or shown it to her. I am asking for a very special request myself in honor of my daughter's selflessness.
The image is now available for $3.00, I am asking you all to purchase this special stamp and help me bring my daughter special birthday wishes by mailing off a card you make with the image to her... but wait that's not all... all I ask is for the special card to be mailed because the $3.00 made from every purchase will be donated to St. Jude's again in Rio's honor. I am planning on taking her after her birthday to the hospital with the money we raise from this image and her birthday money as requested and giving it all to the hospital!
Her birthday is Feb. 8th, if you all could find it in your hearts to give my little girl that special card my mailing it to her I know it would make her day so special... she is always so grateful of the little things and my hope is to fill that mailbox of ours to the brim with Birthday cards! I plan to gather all cards mailed to her from now until the 8th, and secretly putting them all in the mailbox along with her very favorite chocolates: York Peppermint Patties and Peanut Butter cups! That evening after her birthday dinner I am going to ask her to walk down the street with me to the cluster boxes and have her open the mailbox (I am going to pretend I have not checked the mail all day of course) then BAM! they all pop out at her! Whoohooo! She will be thrilled once she realizes what exactly all those letters are.
So, would you all be willing to help Rio raise a little money for the kids and send off a card? If so here is our mailing address and you can purchase the image at simplybettystamps.com under Rio the Birthday Girl digi! She is the first (but limited edition) of six new Emos to come in the future!
Here is the image: what do you think of it? Pretty cute huh? She's the special birthday diva turing 13!! I will run this image for $3.00 until the 8th of Feb. after that she will be gone for good. So please be aware that she will be a very limited edition digi! She may later make a debut in rubber but I am not making any promises, I will try my best if there is enough interest in her to be made into Rubber. Thank you all for your support! And please please please spread the word about this special fund raiser. Thank you all again!"
Here is the mailing address to mail off your creations.
