Good morning, my awesome bleeps! How is everyone this A.M.? I'm popping in with a post for Can You Digi It?...it's time for our 2nd challenge. I used Retro Simply Woodland images from ReviDevi. I layered up the butterfly to add some more dimension to my card. I also added some Smooch to them to try to replicate the look of a butterfly's wings. I hate to say that I didn't photograph the Smooch very well, but it is amazing in person.

Halloween in January!

Yep, Halloween in January! Actually over at Simply B Stamps it will be Happy Halloween all 12 months this year! Let's kick off the 12 Months of Halloween shall we? We have a fun and simple little challenge for you today! Our challenge is Monochromatic and one Halloween color! All you have to do is create a black and white Monochromatic project and throw in one other Halloween color; Orange, Lime Green, Purple, or any other one color you would deem spooky!

See, pretty easy peasy! One lucky winner will be deemed Halloween Queen of the Month! As Halloween Queen of the Month, you will get a digi to work with, a badge, and be the star of our next Halloween challenge! Sounds like fun right? So let's get those Halloween stamps, papers, and embellishments out and get to crafting!

I have used Teen Scene Mummy London. I just adore her and her kitty! ;O)

Stock Spotlight Saturday at CYDI?!

Good morning everyone! I'm here with a new weekly feature for Can You Digi It?. Stock Spotlight Saturday or SSS. This week we've got the spotlight on The Twinery Twine! It is some fun stuff to play with too! Oh, let's not mention the awesome spools that Michelle has to send the twine on! Woohoo!

I used a TCP Studio stamp set along with my new Nesties for this card. The Twinery colors I used were Lemondrop, Mandarin and Caribbean. I love it! I used my Prismacolor pencils to color the flowers on the craft card stock.

Good morning everyone! I'm here today to share some news and the very first challenge for a brand spanking new company. I am the DT Coordinator for Can You Digi It?! How cool is that? You have to read the sweet post that my boss lady, Michelle, wrote HERE. One of my girlfriends asked me if I wrote it myself. LOL!

I'm happy to post our VERY FIRST Challenge. Every other Tuesday, the C.Y.D.I? Team will bring you a new inspiration to get those creative juices flowing. Today, we will celebrate all things digital. Use the following photos for your inspiration...Michelle happens to be an iPhone/Pad junkie. ;O)

I don't like Apple, so no i-anythings at our house. *GASP! Yes, it's true...no iPhone, iPad, iPod, iTunes...nada! I like it that way and so does my hubs! Now go on ahead and pick up your lower jaw. I decided to make a layout on some SUH-WEET accessories that my awesome hubby got me for Christmas. I do love my Kindle...it is amazing and I read SO much! I used one of the tags from the set called Love Tags from LilyPink Designs. It comes in a set of 4 tags and all of them are colored with touches of red...I changed the color of mine to match my layout. It's true that I'll "LOVE ALWAYS" my Kindle! :O)

Good morning all! I'm popping in this morning to share a card for the latest challenge over at Pike's Playground...Dustin Pike's Doodle Dragon Studios. The current challenge is all about BIRTHDAYS! Use any DDS image to make a birthday themed project and link up! It's that easy!

I used this cute hippo hero for mine...what a cutie! I also got to use my new set of Nesties that I got for Christmas....I know, I know. I'm behind the times, right? Everyone has this set already, but that's okay! I have them now! I colored my image (and the candy dots) with my trusty Copics, of course!

Good morning Simply B Stamps fans! Welcome to our first challenge of the new year! We're kicking it off with Betty...Betty stamps, of course! Your challenge for January is to use ANY SBS BETTY image...any Betty from any line. Use your Betty any way, for any holiday...let's see how you Betty!

New Challenge Rules:

1) You may use ANY image you like, but SBS images will receive 2 entries in our random draw!

2) Your project must be new, no backlinking to older projects!

3) You have 21 days to complete and link up your project.

Happy New Year!!! Did anyone out there notice I was MIA...for over a month? I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a safe New Year celebration too! It's a super busy time of year for my family and this year we had the pleasure of being down to one vehicle due to my accident with TWO deer. We bought a new car the day after Christmas, so we're back to being a 2 car family again...SO much easier! Here are some things you may have missed...

Today's image is called Pan Slingin' London. Love her...she's always one of my faves. I think it's her hair. I always wanted curly hair like that! I used some cutie patootie DP that my daughter picked out for cooking from Karen Foster. I decided to give her some pink hair just for the fun of it. I wasn't the only one who thought of this either...my awesome DT sistah, Suzi, did hers up with teal! Woot!

Christmastime with Anita Be Stampin!

Good morning everyone! Are we all ready for a new and Christmasy release and Blog Hop at Anita Be Stampin? I hope you all said yes, cause it's that time! My first project is for those naughty peeps on your list this year...a little snowman poop! I used the new image called snowman peeps...yes, peeps. It has a girly holding this one's hand, but I got rid of her for my project. I stamped some snow swirlies at the bottom of my treat holder and embossed with white EP. I colored him up with Copics and cut him out...let's not forget the fluff ball on his stocking cap! LOL! The little saying says "I heard you've naughty, So listen...here's the scoop. You get no coal this year, only SNOWMAN POOP!"

Next up I have Santa Bear gracing the digital layout of our annual Christmas Sweaters photo...I happen to love this tradition even if the fellas don't! :O)

Lastly for today's post is one of the sassy gals I told you about...Sandy Claus! Isn't she something? Wait till you see the other 2 sassy images! WOOT! I ran out of time, as I had planned to make something with all of them for the release! I'll work on them and post a little later on.

Anything Goes at Pike's Playground

Good afternoon all! It's that time again...another challenge is upon us at Pike's Playground with Doodle Dragon Studios! Come on over and join us...the only rule for this challenge is to use a DDS image. Easy, right? :O)

I used the single ribbon image from the Awareness set. I used the ribbon to make the design for my shirt as well as added them to the digital paper I used. The shirt design uses all sorts of funny names that breasts get called...it's pretty clever, even if I do say so myself! Some of the names are milk bags, jugs, tomatoes, bubbies, gazungas, torpedoes...too funny! I'm hoping you all touch your TATAS once a month too! *grin*

An Anything Goes Itinerary?

Hello, my sweet pumpkin treats! I hope you all had a wonderfully frightening Halloween last night! My daughter's bag was so full of loot that she got tired carrying it around! Insane! She got several full size candy bars and everything!

It's another challenge day for two of my design teams, so I thought, "Why not combine them?" First up is the Anita Be Stampin Challenge where it's ANYTHING GOES! So long as you use an ABS image anyway! ;O)

Anita Be Stampin DT Call!

Anita Be Stampin is looking for a few more talented designers to join our team for a term of approximately 3 months. Do you already maintain an existing blog with multiple posts weekly showcasing your projects? Are you interested in participating in upcoming digi image releases featuring our fun and flirty images? Then our team may be a good fit for you!

Design team members are expected to:

• Create sample projects using ABS digi images and post them weekly to your blog. Each team member will select a minimum of 2 images per release to work with. The minimum required number of projects per month will be 5: 3 challenge projects and 2 new release sneak peek projects (1 per image chosen).
• Participate in Anita Be Stampin new release activities, including any release parties.
• Participate in ABS weekly challenges, blog hops, PCP and Yahoo group discussion, etc.
• Support your fellow design team members by following their blogs and regularly commenting on their ABS creations.
• Support ABS customers by regularly commenting on their ABS creations. • Display the ABS DT badge and link DT members up to your blog.
• Upload ABS creations to at least 2 online galleries on a regular basis, preferably at least every two weeks.
• Respect the prohibition of sharing digi image files. Sharing files would be considered grounds for termination.

In return design team members will:
• Become an important part of a fun and welcoming DT environment!
• Receive a welcome kit of digi images to get you started.

Good morning everyone! Are you all ready for the weekend? We are doing some family pictures on Sunday, so I'm pretty happy about that. Though I kept putting it off thinking I would lose a little weight before we had them done...what happened? I GAINED INSTEAD! ARGH! C'est la vie!

So I have news for you...my dear friend, Suzi asked me to join her challenge DT over at Desert Island Crafts Challenge. It's very fun and you should definitely check out the "itinerary" and join us!

For my card I used Teen Scene Mummy London from Simply Betty Stamps. She is amazing, yes?! Love! In fact this is one of my fave Halloween cards this year! :O) I used #s 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, 9 & 10. The found object is the circle with the skull on it...it's an embossed diet coke can! Cool! The sparkles I used around the bat (above the sentiment) made it look as though it's not a bat and you can't even see the sparkle on the spiders. Gah!

That is the way I'm feeling as I write my post. Teenagers are so ungrateful...and mine doesn't seem to care if he hurts my feelings either! Calgon drown me! On to better news...I'm here with the second preview day of the new Teen Scene Christmas line from Simply Betty Stamps! That's enough to cheer up anyone...I promise!

First up today is Frosty Rio...I love snowmen and snowflakes, so this card makes me happy all the way around! :O) I think this is My Mind's Eye paper.

Last image for the day is called Scrooged Miller...what a sweetie! Bah humbug? No way!

Holiday Cheer Anyone?

Good morning, crafty bleeps! I hope you are all doing well! I DID say holiday cheer in my post...yes, that means Christmas images! Woohoo! Getting an early start this year on my Christmas cards! On Friday Simply Betty Stamps will be releasing the Teen Scene (my faves) Christmas line! We have previews for you today and tomorrow with the release happening on Friday!

The first image I have for you is called Merry London. Don't you just love her hair? She is always my fave of the Teen Scene images just for her hair! ;O) I used some hoarded SEI paper for my card...non traditional colors are always fun for Christmas cards, right?

Last image for today is called Season's Greetings Lola. She's giving some cheese to her little rodent buddy for Christmas. How sweet! Kaiser Craft DP and Prima flowers on this one.

Our dear friend Betty Roberts, owner of Simply Betty Stamps has just found out this week that her 17 year old son Christian has Stage 1 Throat Cancer. He will be having surgery next week and many months of therapy to follow. (To read more from Betty on what’s going on please go HERE)

Betty’s DT and the Crafty Sprouts DT along with a few friends have come together today for the From the Xander Zone Blog Hop and Auction! If you are stumbling into this hop please head to Crafty Sprouts to catch the beginning of the hop!

As you hop along today you will see cards created with Xander, the first in a new series to be released called “From the Xander Zone”. He is available with a donation to Betty’s family. Christian will be undergoing Surgery next week to remove his tonsils and then the thrice weekly therapy will begin on the tumor. His therapy could last for many months.

There is also a contest running through October 16^th and Christian will pick a random winner who will receive the whole collection! The details on the contest are at the SBS blog.

My first project up today features the oh-so-cool Xander. He looks so confident, doesn't he? Perfect card to send on to Christian as I know he's the kind of guy who will face this head on and fight. I printed out my own sentiment...this is something we say at my house. Don't worry, I GOT this! I used some of my favey BG paper from the Oliver line. I know you're probably tired of seeing it already, huh?

My next projects use the other images in this line...be sure to check out the SBS Store to buy them for yourself! First up I used Phoebe and Shelby on a card that's for my GHOULS. Fun, right? I found this paper and chipboard at Target's Dollar Spot. You cannot beat that deal! I cut out and popped up Shelby...not sure you can tell in the photos.

Next I have a Halloween brag book page I'm working on. I used the ever cute Gabby image for it since she was perfecto with all her spidery goodness! Those are spiderweb cookies that I made in the picture.

Last for the images I have Cece. I made a large tag for a birthday gift with her...I thought she was great! As if she's saying, "No! You cannot have my lolli!" LOL!

Good morning everyone! I'm back with a sample card using one of the special release images from Simply Betty Stamps...her name is Ali Baby Turkey.

I used some Basic Grey Ambrosia DP for my card today. I just love this line for Fall projects! Is Ali not the sweetest with her little turkey? All together now...AWWWWWWWWWW!!!

Those of us on the SBS design team are so thankful to all of you who are making donations and purchases to help our sweet Betty raise enough money for the upcoming costs of her son's cancer surgery. It means the world to us and especially Betty and her family. Simply Betty Stamps fans are simply the best!

Special Release and a Request for Help

Hello all. I'm here to let you all know that Betty at Simply Betty Stamps has a brand new special release out for Fall. Please do check out the SBS blog and STORE to check them out and buy, buy, buy! I didn't get any projects made, since this was an impromptu release, but there are lots of beautiful samples on the blog for you.

The special request for help is from our very own Betty. Here is the story copied from the SBS post:

"I was hoping that this release would be on track for Monday as usual, with a preview then a release on Tuesday. However, many times we are faced with challenges and are at times forced to take a different route and make changes accordingly.

My son Christian 17, has had a sore throat for about a month now. The first doctor said it was tonsillitis's. Seven days of Amoxocillin was administered. Two days after the last pill, he was sick again, with a sore throat, and a fever. Back we went to put him on Caphlex... again seven days of antibiotics. On the fourth day he was not improving so we took him back. Ok it's strep now. They kept him on Caphlex but gave him a booster shot. Three full days of starting to get better, he was able to eat again, drink, and talk. He fell sick again on the fourth day, this time they took a culture and sent it to the lab. Monday I got a call that I needed to take Christian in to a specialist, well not just any specialist an Oncologist to go over his culture with me. That appointment was for today Friday, I have of course been stressed the whole time, day after day. When one is not given test results over the phone, one does not worry. When we are asked to come in to discuss the results something is up. The last thing I ever imagined, was to hear the doctor tell me that my 17 year old son has throat cancer. The first question out of my mouth was, "Is my son going to die?" I still can't believe I mustered enough energy to roll those words out of my mouth.

Christian has Stage 1 throat cancer, he will not die from it, but of course they can't ever say to me 100% no he is not going to die. That 99% that he is going to survive it, still puts a mother on edge. My son needs an operation immediately. We have had a series of bad luck, like everyone else due to financial situations. Our brand new Nissan broke down, no problem we will fix it when we fix it. Our house needs minor repairs, again no big deal it will get fixed when it gets fixed. My son needs an operation that will help him get well and be the class clown, kind hearted, silly kid he is... Now there's a problem! We can't just fix it when we fix it and let it sit. He will be going through testing for a week, as he has expressed his "bones" hurting as well. Doctors would like us to move quickly on the operation to prevent any further stages or other unpleasant issues. We live 1 1/2 hours away from the hospital, and you can imagine I do not want to be far from my son. I am not asking for a hand out, or pan handling is that the word? I am willing to offer my products at discounted rates in the hope that it will bring in what is going to be needed in the next week or two while we go through the motions. There are always extra medical bills as the insurance doesn't cover anyone 100%, we have a co-pay but have no idea where to pull it from, we don't have a magic top hat :(. I am not asking again, for a hand me down, just asking that if you ever wanted a Simply Betty Stamp, your purchase would be a blessing at this moment.

I was able to make up one card for you today using Willy Wonka, our favorite chocolatier. Isn't he cute? I used a sentiment from CTMH...I thought it was appropriate. I used some Pink Paisley DP and colored the image up with my Copics.

Steampunk Halloween Release at Simply Betty Stamps!

Good morning all! I am so excited to share with you today! Simply Betty Stamps now has the Steampunk Halloween line live in the shop! These images are to die for...no joke!

First up I have Druscilla the Demon. I used some Echo Park Apothecary Emporium DP along with some purple and dark red card stock. I got the charm at Hobby Lobby, I believe.

Next we have Beatrix the Witch...I am loving her! She is bad to the bone! I colored this one with a combination of Copics and Prismacolor pencils. More Echo Park DP and card stock stickers on this one. I loosely used the sketch over at Card Patterns for this one.

Last image is called Lydia the Living Dead Girl. I so love her outfit! I used some MME Blackbird DP for this one along with the current sketch at Deconstructed Sketches. The metal sentiment is from Making Memories.

Hi all! Long time no see, eh? I missed all of you! I wanted to pop on this afternoon to share a commissioned card I made. A chef friend of hers was returning to Kansas City and she said that no store bought card would do...how sweet!

I found the perfect image at The Paper Shelter. I added his name to the chef hat...I heard he loved it! The sentiment is from a set by PTI. I am entering this into TPS' current challenge - embossing. :O)

So sorry for the late post today, peeps! I've been at the doctor's office all day waiting to be squeezed in. I managed to get poison ivy all over my face this weekend and it was starting to sweel my eye shut. Oh, the joys of yard work, eh? I got a bajillion prescriptions, so hopefully it'll start getting better soon.

All of that being said, it another release day at Simply Betty Stamps today! Woot! My favey line again...this time the Teen Scene line is going Back 2 Skool! How fun!

First up is Mad Scientist Christian. Doesn't he look like his little experiment was an epic failure? LOL!

I used some BG Lollipoppe Shoppe that I've been hoarding. I thought it was a good time to use what with all the letters/numbers on it.

Next up I have Artist London for you. Her canvas comes blank, but I added in her little skully drawing. I love that paper from Creative Imaginations and the big black skull is a jewelry embellie I got on clearance. :O)

A Spooky Halloween

Everyone seemed to go gaga over my digital layout for the latest release of the Teen Scene Halloween line, so I thought I'd make up another one for you all! (May I mention that the Teen Scene line is available to customers as rubber only. The DT get the digi version as a perk to being on the team...not to mention it's easier and less expensive on the boss!) I used Mummy London for my layout today along with photos of my punkin carvin'. Spooky! I used the sketch over at Sketches in Thyme for this one.

I'm starting out with Lola Addams for my first card. Oh yeah! We have some of the Teen Scenes posing as The Addams Family...aren't they fab? I used the sketch over at Deconstructed Sketches for this one. The sentiment is from an ABS set.

Last sample for you has both Christian and Betty Addams. OMG, are they not so awesome? I decided to do a little digital layout using an old Halloween photo of my hubby and I. I colored the images in Photoshop. What do you think?

Good morning all and a happy weekend to ya! It has cooled off quite a bit here over the last few days, and boy is it a relief! It's nice when the AC can kick off for a bit!

I'm here with a new challenge over at Simply Betty Challenges. The new theme? ANYTHING HALLOWEEN! As you all know, we LOVE Halloween! If you missed it, we released some new Sweet Gothic Kids images last week in the Halloween genre, so that's what we have all used for the challenge. Mermaids Galore - Release Day at Simply Betty Stamps!

Good morning everyone! I had a couple of posts that were supposed to go live yesterday and didn't due to a debilitating migraine. I woke up with the blasted, so my little "magic" pill didn't do a damn thing. :O( It lasted all day long too. I'm feeling a bit better today, but not back to normal just yet.

The reason for this post...Simply Betty Stamps has released a new line of digital stamps today...Merkids!!! They are uber cute! I have Summer up first for you. I used a Taylored Expressions stamp set for the sentiment along with Copics to color. Some yummy MME paper and Star Dust pen for her tail, and we're set!

Hellooooooooo! I'm so sorry I'm late with my post. It has been a hectic and busy the last couple of days, and I never check to make sure I had set my post to auto post at the correct time. :O(

This is unfortunately my last post for StampFairy as a Guest Designer. I wanted to say thank you to Gerda and Jackie for making me feel so welcome! Today starts a very fun challenge over StampFairy Challenge. Christmas in July with a twist of making an easel card. This is my third easel card ever and I am loving it! I really should make more of these, right? I used the adorable Jake Poinsettias image and fussy cut him for my card. I used some distress ink to color the doily and I also colored the roses with my Copics to match the DP. What do you think of my easel card?

Today's preview features Tilly. What a saucy lil gal she is! Of course I had to make her with red hair...she's loving that hot cocoa! :O) I used some more of my Basic Grey DP...love this stuff! The charm has a rhinestone added to the middle to match her hair along with some orange and white Divine Twine.

I used some yummy Basic Grey paper for my card...I just love this line! He's been colored up with my Copics and I used a bit of distress ink on the edges as well.

Hello, people! Happy Saturday to you! I am hoping that yours is more exciting than mine is! ;O) I came by to add a card I made the other day using the current challenge over Tiddly Inks Challenge - Reel Me In. The day late and dollar short bit comes in the way of always using a sketch a day late. I used Deconstructed Sketches #9 and they are now on #10. Oh, well! Jen's sketches are always wonderful anyway! :O)

I used the Alice - Time for Tea image for my card along with some MME paper...I love, love, love this paper pad! She has been colored with Copics and I sponged the background for her.

Oh, before I forget...I have a couple of cards that are being published tomorrow at Scrapbook News and Review's online magazine! How flipping cool is that! If you are subscribed, I sure hope you'll pop by take a peek! :O)

Good morning to all! TGIF! I feel like it's been a super long week! Phew! I'm here with a new challenge for Simply Betty Challenges this A.M. Our challenge, should you choose to accept it, use any SBS image along with any sketch challenge! Easy! Super dee-dooper easy even! I used the monthly sketch over at Graphicat Sketch Challenge...it's owned by our very sweet and talented DT sistah, Cheri! Woot, woot!

I used the Max & Miller rubber stamp from the Everyday Teen Scene line. I stamped it on kraft card stock and colored it up with my Prismacolor pencils. I do just love the way it looks on kraft! :O)

I'm popping in with my 2nd Guest DT post for Stamp Fairy at StampFairy Challenge. Today's challenge is all something NEW. Today I used a new card technique called the side step fold. It was easy peasy and adds an extra little something to your card. My daughter loved it and asked that I make one for her birthday. :O) I used 2 different stamps from the Lenny Cupcakes collection. Each one had another bear with it, but I chose to cut them out for this particular card. I hope you like it!

Good morning all and HAPPY 4TH OF JULY! I hope you are getting some time with your family and friends and staying safe!

I have some exciting news...I was asked to be July's Guest Designer over at Stamp Fairy! How fun is that? They have THE cutest bears and other digi stamps around. Lenny seems to be my fave and I have used him today for my first post.

Today's challenge is a sketch...I just love me a sketch and this one was so easy to use! Lenny Father's Day was one image I knew I had to use. I made this card for my Dad this past Father's Day. I added some lashes and bow to the wee one to make it look like a girl and she turned out SO cute! Whatcha think?

Oh, my word! Guess what I saw on Friday night? Crissy Armstrong is having a DT call over at Sundays with Crissy! WOOT! How you can NOT love her images? She has fun images in both rubber and digi. I first fell in love with her for her AMAZING coloring...she is beyond fantastical! Then I fell in love with her for the images...I mean, seriously...dogs, elephants, unicorns, dragons? Yippee skippee!

Today's card features In the Doghouse. He is SO cute that I can't see him being in there for being a bad dog. I am always awestruck when I see how Crissy colors fur, so I tried my hand at it. I am pretty happy with it for my first time. I used my trusty Copics to color him up and paired it with some yummy MME papers. I stamped the little sentiment on the bone from a PTI set...perfect!

Good morning everyone! Sorry my Anita Be Stampin post is a little late this morning...we had some some pretty freaky weather last night and I didn't get my post scheduled. :O)

Anyway, here is my card. I made the flowers...cool, huh? I love the way they came out. I used the stamp set called Monster Hugs for my card today. Only a sentiment on the front because I didn't want one of those adorable monsters stealing the show away from the flowers. I did, however, use one of them on the inside of the card. The beautiful lace is from Wild Orchid, the DP (which I LURVE) is by MME, I used my Silhouette to cut the leaves and petals for my flowers, butterfly is a charm from my stash.

Good morning everyone! I hope you're all raring and ready to go this Tuesday morning. Wishful thinking in my neck of the woods! It's time for another round of Anita Be Stampin Challenges though...that's always something to look forward to when it's SO EASY TO WIN! :O)

Today's challenge is to make a shaped card with the option of adding buttons. I totally missed that part when we decided on the challenge, so mine doesn't include any buttons this. It's my prerogative to leave them off! I used the cling mounted rubber stamp set called Bears & Bunches for my card today. I used some nummy MME DP and Copics to color. I added some sparkle to the flowers, including the handmade one, using Stickles.

I used Tilly from the Sweet Gothic Kids Easter line. I colored and "pieced" her in Photoshop. The layout photo is of my Mom, Daughter and myself having a girls day. We went out for mani/pedis and to lunch. :O)

Good morning, my little cupcakes! It's time for another challenge at Anita Be Stampin Challenges...this time we have a color challenge for you. It was a bit challenging for me, but I worked it out.
