Hi all. I just wanted to show you the set of Thanksgiving cards I made for my dear friend, Juanita. She loves the muted colors of fall and a more traditional feel, so this is what I came up with for her. :O)
Happy Hallow's Eve!

Sneaky Peekin' for Sassy Studio Designs
Hello all! I wanted to show you a new template that will be released on Nov. 1 at Sassy Studio Designs. It's a Snow Globe card template that comes with an extra sheet for the layering pieces. Just print and cut! Easy peasy!
I made the globe part of mine out of acetate and put the snowman, flakes and some glitter inside the 2 pieces. I was going to make a shaker, but my creative design team sister, Piali, already did it! :O)

Fluttering By with Zindorf Style!!!
Good morning all you crafty people! I'm back in action with Flutter By Wednesday #81! This week is another open week...just use a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation. :O)
I actually used a dragonfly, but it's pretty close to a butterfly if you ask me! I made this card using a brayering technique by Michelle Zindorf. I got to catch up with my gal pal, Peggy yesterday, and she showed me how to do this properly. If you remember, I tried one of these several months ago and it didn't come out looking anything like this! I'm tickled as can be with it...what do you guys think???
I hope you enjoy my card this week! Be sure to check out the rest of the design team's creations! Ann, Cassie, Chris, Christine, Danni, Harriet, Heather, Jodi, Kristie, Michelle, Nancy, Nicola, Stef & Taylor.

Flutter By Wednesday #80!
Hello all you happy crafters! Another Wednesday is upon us and that means another Flutter By Wednesday over at Danni's Dreams! Woohoo! All you have to this week is use a butterfly or a fairy on your creation. I went super simple this week after I found this beautiful paper yesterday at Hobby Lobby. The sentiment says "THE BEAUTY OF FRIENDSHIP IS NOT THE OUTSTRETCHED HAND, NOR THE KINDLY SMILE...IT'S THE SPIRITUAL INSPIRATION THAT COMES WHEN YOU DISCOVER THAT SOMEONE ELSE BELIEVES IN YOU AND IS WILLING TO TRUST YOU WITH THEIR FRIENDSHIP." :O)

Luminaries, Taylored Expressions Challenge
Hi everyone and happy Tuesday! It's dreary and rainy here in Kansas today. I thought I should come visit all my crafty people and show you what I've been up to. Today I have a very quick and easy way to decorate for Halloween or any occasion! If you have vellum, ink and a stamp, you can do this too! I made this luminary to go out on the front steps for Halloween. How cute is this??? I used the Evil Sorceress and bats digital images by Sassy Studio Designs. I just arranged them, printed them out on vellum (2 per page), color in black and tape the edges together. Add your tea light and voila! Easy peasy and oh-so-cute! This would work for traditional stamps as well!
Next up I joined in at Taylored Expressions for the sketch challenge. This is my first time playing over there and I'm wondering why! I loved the sketch and I will be returning, for sure! Here is Taylor's sketch and my take on it...
I am going to do my best to start listing what products I used in my creations. I used to do it and then I got lazy. *sheepish grin* Paper is the worst since I have soooooooo many scraps.

A Spooky "Twilight" Kind of Love and Monkeying Around!
Happy Monday everyone! I'm bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning, so I thought I'd pop on and show you a different kind of card for me. Aisne of Aisne's Creations is a talented artist from South Africa who specializes in 3D graphics. These are already colored in and ready to use on cards, layouts, etc and can be found at Digiscrap Station. I saw her Dracula and Noir and thought they would be a perfect replica of Edward and Bella. :O) The sentiment says "A SPOOKY KIND OF LOVE" What say you?
Next up, I have monkeys from Dustin Pike's last release. I know release day is on Thursday, but I forgot to post them here for you! Slacker, I know! ;O)

I have my own tutorial up on SSD today! Be sure to stop by and let me know what you think! I saw a version of this on Heather's Heavinly Stampations and adapted it to fit my purpose. Here is my Mini Kit Kat Card. :O)

Card Patterns Sketch
Hi everyone! I had a full day of errands and then some getting ready for the Sassy Studio Designs Release Party on Thursday!!! I wanted to pop on and show you the card I made for Card Patterns this week. I love this sketch and it worked out well with this image, "Holiday Shopping". :O) Here is the sketch and my take on it.
Here I have used the SSD Pillow Box Template along with the Cocoa image...both of these will be released on Thursday, October 15th! Doesn't she look so comfy and content sipping her hot cocoa? I plan to add a Starbuck's gift certificate inside. :O)
Don't forget that Sassy Studio Designs has Card Scents too! We have some new scents coming for the holidays...I will keep you updated on those! What's better than getting a handmade card? One that smells good enough to eat, of course! :O)

Dare to be Sassy Thursday #2!
Hi everyone and Happy Thursday! Today is Sassy Studio Designs 2nd Dare to be Sassy challenge! This week's challenge is to use the following picture for inspiration! What a picture it is!
I was inspired by the leaves and the feeling Autumn brings out in me...the image I used, "Fall Fun" explains it quite well! I love Fall...it's by far my favorite season! I made my card a gate fold, drew a leaf shape onto it and cut it out. What do you think?
Be sure to add a DIRECT link to your project in the comments section HERE by Wednesday, October 14th to qualify! The winner will be announced by Friday, October 16th and will win any 2 SSD images of their choice!
Have a great night!!!
